English and Social Studies Teacher

The American program located on the campus of Hsin-Chu County Liou-Jia Senior High School is seeking an English/EFL and Social Studies teacher. This is a 2+1 program in Hsinchu, Taiwan. The hired candidate will teach students who attend school in Taiwan during their 10th and 11th grade years, and will complete their 12th grade year in the U.S. Students will then continue to study in the U.S. for university.
Appropriate candidates for this program should be prepared to implement the comprehensive curriculum, employing strategies to increase students' operational English, regardless of the subject matter.
Note that courses will be taught afternoons and evenings Monday – Friday, and students will attend classes at their local Taiwan school during the day.
