Responsibilities

  • Plan, set and deliver standards for learning  
  • Prepare and support critical thinking for students in the classroom 
  • Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching 
  • Observe and evaluate student's performance and development
  • Understanding of academic, social and behavioral needs and characteristics of high-level student
  •  Establish links with the parent community to ensure that parents are kept well informed about student progress

Qualifications and Requirements

Education RequiredMaster
MajorEnglish Language
Additional School Requirements
  • Masters Degree or certifications in English Language and Literature (Education) or School Administration or Curriculum Instruction or relevant field is preferred
  • Five years of experience teaching EC-6 and/or English Language Arts
  • Knowledge of US curriculum is preferred; Cambridge/Singapore Curriculum - exposure is preferred
  • Sound understanding of English Language Arts and Reading teaching to ESL students
