English Teacher - American School of Creative Science

American School of Creative Science (ISCS) is looking for a creative, passionate, and outstanding English Teacher who values professional development opportunities and a good work-life balance. To develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives. To facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with pupils, and by their organization of learning resources and the classroom learning environment.

Develop and foster the appropriate skills and social abilities to enable the optimum development of children, according to age, ability, aptitude, and cultural difference.

Assess and record progress and prepare pupils for examinations. By linking pupils' knowledge to earlier learning and developing ways to encourage it further, and challenging and inspiring pupils to help them deepen their knowledge and understanding.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience following the US Common Core Curriculum
  • Diploma or higher in teaching or Education
  • Qualification in teaching the English Language as a Second Language (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL)
  • IELTS at least score 7.5 or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Data Disaggregation, Analysis, and Differentiation for Students
  • Preferably with IKTHAR/KHDA/ADEC approval for UAE-based candidates
