Grade 3 Level Leader

Due to school growth and expansion, Taaleem is looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate Grade 3 Level Leader, to join the Dubai Schools Mirdif campus in Dubai, this August 2022.

Grade 3 Level Leader (GLL)

The GLL is a stipended position that ensures the grade level team works in a collaborative, effective, and efficient manner. The GLL teaches one-grade level section and supports the Dubai Schools initiative by reinforcing the DS Mission, Values, and Attitudes. Effective teaching and learning is a priority and coherence, positivity, and engagement inspire students to continually meet and exceed their learning targets. 

The GLL is known for: 

  • Contributing to the professional learning of colleagues through coaching, modeling, and sharing best practices. 
  • Fostering a culture of trust where each team member is open about their strengths and areas of growth 
  • Motivating, advocating, and supporting their team members 
  • Implementing and embedding innovative ideas into units and lessons 
  • Understanding school policies and systems 
  • Following and reinforcing school procedures  
  • Organizing team meetings and relaying key information from the SLT 
  • Monitoring the effective use of hallway and classroom displays 
  • Supporting the orientation, onboarding, and induction of new teachers. 
  • Supporting resources acquisition that supports teaching and learning 
  • Liaising with the grade level team to foster an environment supportive of the wellbeing of all students regularly to ensure all staff uphold a strong understanding of pastoral care with their students  

Due to KHDA regulations, we require our teachers to have one of the following: a Bachelor of Education or PGCE and a degree in the subject area that they teach. Aside from your qualifications, personality is very important, we look for inspirational teachers who leave a lasting impression on students for years to follow.
