Head of Secondary

Our British curriculum school, the International School of Creative Science (ISCS) is looking for a creative, passionate, and outstanding Head of Secondary and Sixth Form who values professional development opportunities and an excellent work-life balance. 

We are looking for exceptionally talented education leaders who through their evidence and the impact of their leadership can demonstrate and ensure that our students achieve outstanding outcomes in their academic and personal/social development.

The successful candidate is expected to provide and lead the strategic direction for the Secondary School, by the aims of the school and the curricular policies determined by the Principal as mandated by BEAM.

Additional School Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related subjects
  • Minimum 5 years of teaching experience following the UK National Curriculum and at least 2 years in school administration 
  • Preferably with UK Leadership Qualification (NPQML, NPQSL)
  • Experience working in a high-achieving school (preferred)
  • Evidence of successful implementation of a range of whole school initiatives, focusing on positive outcomes for pupils
  • Experience in accreditation and school inspections (preferred)
