High School Science Teacher

With fully equipped facilities, a rigorous study schedule, high morale, and exceptional education standards. The St. Patrick school Science curriculum is aligned with the NGSS and Common core standards; modified at some grade levels by the basic characteristics of the Dominican Republic curriculum and student’s needs. Designed to make science a fun experience in the classrooms for our students, implementing STEAM experience for learners and teachers engagement. Strategies like periodic homework assignments, creative in-class work, lab experiments, projects and regular assessments. Leadership development accompanies all classes through the 7 habits of the Leader in me program, developed through our highly elevated instructions.

Essential functions

  • Abide by the teachers’ rules and regulations, attend orientations, staff meetings, parents’ meetings, and participate in educational activities on time
  • Provide support to schools/principals as designated
  • Understand and respect the school's cultural heritage
  • Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior
  • Strives to implement by instruction and action the school's philosophy of education and instructional goals and objectives
  • Strives to maintain and improve professional competence
  • Attends staff meetings and orientations
  • Performs other related duties as requested or assigned
