MacDuffie School Shanghai is a Grade 9-12 International School with 109 students. The Campus enrolls Chinese students and the language of instruction is English. The Shanghai campus has 3 Curricula, which are interlinked to provide a cohesive educational experience which fits the needs of the student. The students can study on the American, IB or Canadian Programs. The maximum class size is 25.
MacDuffie (China) inherited the campus culture and education philosophy from the 130-year history of the American MacDuffie School. In 2017, at the beginning of its establishment, MacDuffie established its "Global Academic Committee" to explore the international education system, which aims to combine the essence of traditional American curriculum with Chinese characteristic international education. Rely on this self-developed standard system, MacDuffie hopes to help more Chinese students entering worldwide top universities.
Currently, MacDuffie (China) has established three directly-operated campuses in Shanghai, Tianjin, Nanjing. And it also has two Curriculum Centers in Beijing and Linyi. It has registered hundreds of outstanding teaching and administrative staff, of which more than 50% holding master's degree, and more than 80% are experienced senior teachers with long teaching careers. 60% of our 1,000 graduates entered TOP 50 universities and 30% were accepted by TOP 30 institutes.
