IB Diploma Administrative Assistant & Examination Officer

To complete our team at Secondary School, we are looking for an IB Diploma Administrative Assistant & Examination Officer

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IBDP Coordinator with IB Diploma administrative tasks (uploading internal and external assessments, organizing resources, communicating Diploma developments, creating accounts on MyIB)
  • Liaise with the external Assessment Boards for all matters regarding the administration of the external exams
  • Prepare and run the internal school exams
  • Liaise with teachers, students and parents regarding examination entries
  • Submit entries for external examinations to awarding bodies in advance of deadlines
  • Responsible for organising exam materials, providing safe custody of and organising examination stationery and materials
  • Review and verify documents for accuracy, completeness and compliance with predetermined standards

Qualifications and Requirements

Required Certificates
TESL/TEFL Certificate over 100 hours
Education RequiredHigh School Diploma
MajorInternational Bacalaureate
Additional School Requirements
  • Previous SAT and ACT experience, as well as IB Diploma Programme
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and accuracy, initiative
  • Interest in teaching environments including the desire to work with students and teachers
  • Ability to work in French and English
  • High personal standards
  • Professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, teachers, students, parents and community members
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
  • Flexibility and ability to work additional hours during exam periods
  • Comfort with technical/administrative software
