IB STEM Secondary School Teacher

Exciting teaching opportunity at Casvi International American School. Institution of recognized prestige and a true reference in the IB methodology at the international level seeks for the next academic year 2024 - 2025 teachers of Secondary and High School in the STEM subjects. Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. To swell the teaching staff and address the projected growth in students for the next school year. We are looking for passionate, energetic, and innovative full-time teachers interested in being part of a collaborative group of teachers and working with highly motivated high school students in a diverse and largely residential community.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Maths; Physics; Chemistry), and/or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledgeable and skilled in the use of instructional technology, including iPads, in the classroom.
  • The readiness to teach introductory courses and the potential to teach higher levels.
  • Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including a clear speaking voice.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Must have good classroom management and demonstrated ability to engage students.
  • Must have a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work well with others, resolve controversy and conflict through respectful negotiation, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Adept at problem-solving, resilient when faced with challenges, and skilled in planning and organization.
