ICT Teacher
GHA is seeking a qualified and talented learner-centered teacher to actively engage our learners in inquiry- and project-based learning. We are looking for a teacher who is deeply committed to challenging and supporting learners to excel academically and socially – A teacher who is passionate about teaching and compassionate with learners.
The successful candidate should be prepared to relocate to Kigali, Rwanda around the start of March 2021; the precise date of relocation can be agreed by mutual consent since the school is fully online at present, with the prospect of returning to the campus likely in mid-February or March. Full salary will be paid from the first teaching day, irrespective of the candidate’s location.

Responsibilities
- Instruct and Provide current, cutting-edge information and technology in the academic area.
- Ensure that all learners have access to the appropriate tools for 21st-century learning.
- In liaison with Principals, contribute to changes in curriculum design and integration of technology into the curriculum and pedagogy.

The position will suit a committed, enthusiastic teaching professional possessing the correct blend of moral purpose, teaching, and interpersonal and intercultural communication skills A willingness to team plan and collaborate with host-country teachers within the Middle and High school Divisions is a requirement. We seek a qualified and self-motivated ICT Teacher, with experience in IB and MYP, who can perform effectively in an exciting and challenging cross-cultural environment. Proficiency in French language will be an added advantage but not a requirement. |
