The job description is as below:

  • Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals
  • Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
  • Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
  • Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management
  • Control budget and report on expenditure
  • Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
  • Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security, and control structures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness

Additional School Requirements
  • Proven working experience in the field of computers or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems
  • Expertise in data center management and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
  • Ability to manage personnel
  • BS in Computer Science, MIS, or similar field
  • Website management and website designing skills
  • Possess knowledge and skill in the following software packages or similar: Canva, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
