Job Summary

To research and evaluate the curricula, teaching procedures and educational materials within department as per the mandate of BEAM Creative Science Schools. Mentor new teachers, teaching workshops or seminars and observing teachers in the classroom. Also providing constructive feedback based on teacher evaluations. 

To research and select textbooks, as well as other educational materials and order or authorize the purchase of supplies with discussion with Principal and Curriculum Coordinator. To work with Curriculum Coordinator/Heads of Department with the research and design of educational materials and instructional methods.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education RequiredBachelor
Additional School Requirements
  • Education and Research certification, NPQH and any other relevant management certification relevant to the position
  • Must have no less than 10 years of relevant professional experience in role(s) with progressively senior levels of leadership in a similar capacity
  • Strong knowledge of issues related to quality education in development as well as international bodies and policy
  • 5 years of experience in managing and developing staff within a cross-functional organization
  • All degrees including the highest degree should be recognized, certified and attested as per UAE requirements
  • Professional expertise in education (US Curriculum expertise, global education policy, child-centered methodology, curriculum design and implementation, school-improvement programs, teacher training, education in emergencies, early childhood education, adult education, safe school based strategies, play-based learning)
