Kindergarten Early Childhood Educator

Rainbowtrekkers is a bilingual English-German kindergarten and daycare catering for children from 1 year to 6 years in Cologne (Köln). We work according to guidelines presented by various progressive educational concepts such as Montessori and Reggio Emilia. We are convinced that a respectful attitude towards the child's personality must be the starting point of all education. The rainbow stands for the variety of children who visit our kindergartens. Trekkers, as in ‘trekking’, suggests that education is a continual, fluid process - a journey into life on which we accompany the children in our kindergartens.

We are looking for new colleagues to expand our international team:

  • full-time (40 hours/week)
  • for whom the loving treatment of children is an affair of the heart
  • that create an environment in which children feel safe and secure and in which they can develop optimally
  • who have a sociable, sunny and creative personality and are happy to bring them into the team
  • who cater to children individually and take their needs and personalities into account
