Kindergarten Teacher

General objective of the position:

To encourage young children's learning, promote oral and written language development, support their physical, emotional, communicative, social, and cognitive development; and identify students' skills, abilities, interests, and needs for their holistic development.

The teacher  who holds the position must comply with the following responsibilities:

  • Complete weekly planning and turn it in every Thursday.
  • Collaboratively plan the IB unit of inquiry
  • Complete the course assigned monthly.
  • Monitor and document students’ learning
  • Adapt curriculum content and strategies for all students in the class
  • Prepare for observation and/or monitoring visits
  • Know and implement the learning philosophy through the play of the IB program
  • Foster a culture of Respect, tolerance, equity, empathy, and cooperation.
  • Create a learning culture that supports the mission, vision, and philosophy.

Salary scale:  according to previous experience, educational degrees, and local life conditions.

  • 100% Scholarship for all dependent children, as long they pass admission tests. (Scholarship does not cover institutional fees, school uniforms, books, supplies, and PTA charges)
  • Salary monthly: In MXN before tax.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Education or related field and 2 years of previous experience as an early years or Kindergarten teacher (IB PYP experience desirable)
