Kindergarten Teacher

The Menominee Indian School District has a full-time Kindergarten teaching position available for the 2022-2023 school year at Keshena Primary School.

Responsibilities:

  • Instruct, monitor, and adjust teaching activities to assure student achievement.
  • Develop curriculum. Implement successful classroom management and trauma-informed care techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and co-workers. Provide tolerance, extend understanding, and nurturing to all students.

Qualifications:

Candidates shall possess the appropriate certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) to instruct the necessary vacancies.

Special Qualifications:

  • Candidates shall preferably possess a strong background in reading and math.
  • Knowledge of Balanced Literacy, PBIS, and Trauma Informed Care is preferred.
