Kindergarten Teacher - Kids 'R' Kids Nanjing - China

We are looking for a Kindergarten Teacher to work at our campus. Each foreign employee will receive a legal working visa in the Republic of China as well as a Foreign Experts Certificate covered by Kids ‘R’Kids Nanjing.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and administer the appropriate curriculum for children in your care for both classroom and outdoor activities, in accordance with age appropriate objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy
  • Maintain daily communication with families of children in your care
  • Report any suspected child abuse to owner or administrator
  • Maintain confidentiality with information shared by owner, administration, teachers, staff and families
  • Maintain all appropriate daily records
  • Assess and record progress in all areas of growth for children in your care. This includes physical, cognitive, social and emotional growth
  • Document incidents and accidents appropriately for the administrators’ approval
  • Arrange the classroom environment in accordance to program goals
  • Take all Kids ‘R’ Kids required curriculum, safety and childcare trainings and obtain Kids ‘R’ Kids certificate
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required

 

Working hours are specified as follows: 

Standard working hours system, i.e. 8 hour(s)/day, 5 day(s)/week; from 8:00am to 17:00pm  (Monday thru Friday; unless government mandated make-up holiday) with one-hour lunch break. Employees working directly with children will have to have a replacement for lunch break. Lunch Breaks are unpaid.
