Librarian

Job description：

Organize library material, equipment, and facilities for effective and efficient utilization and circulation, plans, equips and maintains attractive facilities
Establish standards for student comportment in the Library Media Center(s), assisting students in becoming effective and discriminating users of library resources and helping students develop habits of independent reference work and skills in the use of reference material in relation to planned assignments
Evaluate and select materials needed to meet both the curricular and individual needs of students, teachers, and administrators who will be using the Library Media Center(s), Determines the needs of teachers and students as a basis for the selection of new materials and equipment
Read literatures for appropriate grade level to cultivate students’ reading habits
Teach as a substitute teacher when other teachers ask for leave
Meet assigned school responsibilities, work to complete goals and outcomes
Allocate and manage expenditures of assigned budget funds on the basis of curricular and replacement needs
Develop and promote the Library Media Center programs, its routines, usage scheduling, and procedures

About Vanke Bilingual School Shanghai Vanke Bilingual School grew out of the International Bilingual Program of Fudan Vanke Experimental Private School.
