A high achieving school with British Curriculum in the Middle East is now recruiting for a high performing Librarian Teacher catering KS1 and KS2 at the ages 5-11.

The School follows the British National Curriculum and are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic librarians to join our school for now and the next academic year.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education RequiredAssociate/2-year Diploma
MajorLibrary Science
Additional School Requirements
  • A Bachelor's /Educational Degree, and PGDE in the relevant discipline
  • Minimum of 4-5 years working experience
  • IGCSE and checkpoint tutorship experience will be an added advantage
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children
  • Prior involvement in extra-curricular activities
  • Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, religion, gender, age and ethnic background
  • Experience Working with students for whom english is not their first Language
  • A organised and get-the-job-done attitude to working life
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check and no question regarding suitability to work with children
