Math Intervention Teacher

PURPOSE OF JOB:  to serve as a resource for students in need of math intervention services. The interventionist develops small group/individualized lesson plans and materials, conducts individualized/small group instruction, and assesses student performance and progress as a way to guide the intervention services provided.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education RequiredBachelor
Additional School Requirements
  • Hold or be eligible for Missouri elementary teacher certification
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of elementary teaching experience
  • Knowledge of the Missouri Learning Standards
  • Background experience and knowledge in the area of elementary math instruction
