MHS PE Teacher - Shanghai SMIC Private School - China

Responsibilities:

Teach a minimum of 21-22 periods per week
Teach students in grades K-12 as assigned in PE/Health, primarily in middle/high school, but could include elementary course(s)
Work on curriculum development, which includes preparing effective diverse lesson units based on the school’s curriculum formats using the Understanding by Design (UbD)
Collaborate with PE teachers through fostering a team focused department
Design authentic assessments and measure their effectiveness in meeting curricular goals

About the School

Originally founded in 2001, the SMIC Private School was created to serve families employed by the Semiconductor Manufacturing International Company (SMIC), one of the most advanced semiconductor companies in China. Over the years, the school’s reputation grew along with enrollment demands as we expanded to include students from outside the company as well.
