Middle School ELA Teacher

The responsibilities of a lead teacher include:

  • Writing course overview and scope and sequence of planned teaching units of every taught subject
  • Writing Medium Term Plans that communicate the learning outcomes and objectives for the week
  • Daily planning for engaging and differentiated instruction that is well resourced
  • Recording student achievement data in the Learning Management System every 2 weeks
  • Building positive relationships with all students and families
  • Participating and contributing to the school's professional learning community
  • Being an active stakeholder in the schools Professional Growth Process
  • Contributing to the positive culture of the school, community, and their initiatives
