Middle School English Teacher

Hobby School is looking for a candidate to fill in the position of ELA teacher in middle school. 

This is a full-time job Monday to Friday with a maximum of 25 teaching hours per week (the duration of each teaching hour is 40 minutes). The ELA classes in middle school will be closely aligned with the IMYC (International Middle Years Curriculum) Big Ideas. The IMYC connects all learning of  the students within the framework of a single Big Idea, therefore, a great deal of teamwork and creativity is essential.

We are looking for teachers who are ready and willing to work in a new and challenging environment. You will have the opportunity to work alongside many teachers who are hard-working, dedicated and passionate - qualities that the successful candidate will need to bring with them to our community of 800 students and 60+ educators.

Prior experience in teaching overseas, especially in the developing world countries woudl be a huge benefit alongside openness to new cultures. The school is a multicultural environment but with its predominantly (if not exclusively) Mongolian student body, respect for and understanding of local customs and traditions is expected.
