Middle School Humanities and English Teacher

This position is for Grade 7 Humanities and Grade 8 English in our IB Middle Years Program.  There are 2 groups of 7th Grades of approximately 15-20 students and 2 groupos of 8th Graders of approximately 15-20 students.  The teacher will be responsible for all aspects of teaching these two subjects.

 

Full time teaching position of approximately 25 out of 35 teaching periods per week. Teachers will be required to attend grade level and departmental meetings. A few afterschool or evening requirements such as proctoring a dance or assisting in afterschool programs, such as Model United Nations. These are occasional requirements.  

 

Teachers must present apostille FBI and state police records.  If married, they must present an apostille marriage license.  Unmarried, non-teaching partners will not be able to obtain a visa and will have to leave the country after 90 days and not return in a year.
