Middle School Social Studies Teacher

The Menominee Indian School District has a full-time position available as a Social Studies Teacher at the Menominee Indian Middle School for the 2022-2023 school year.

Responsibilities:

Instruct, monitor, and adjust teaching activities to assure student achievement, develop curriculum, and plan and implement teaching strategies.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and co-workers.
The successful candidate will provide tolerance, extend understanding, and nurturing to all students.

Qualifications: The candidate shall possess a Social Studies certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Special Qualifications: The candidate shall possess the ability to develop in each pupil an appreciation of American ideals and cultural heritage; To develop proficiency in the use of social studies inquiry skills and concepts; Motivate each pupil to understand and exercise their rights, privileges, and responsibilities as a citizen; Develop an understanding of the geographical, historical, cultural, and political factors which influence the development of the world, state, national and local regions.
