Music Teacher

The successful candidate

  • Will be expected to teach Grades 3, 4 and 5 and MYP classroom music.

 

The successful candidate should

  • Contribute to the support of the music program throughout the whole school

 

The successful candidate must

  • Be a proficient music teacher
  • Have a practical working knowledge of the IB Middle Years Progamme
  • Have a practical working knowledge of Primary School music curricula
  • Be experienced in ensemble direction
  • Have a passion for Music in international education
  • Value the role that music plays in exploring and developing intercultural understanding
  • Have up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people
  • Display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people
  • Value and respect the views and needs of children and young people
  • Coordinate the after school instrumental music teaching programme
