Part-Time Online High School Digital Art Teacher
Seeking an experienced art teacher with US credentials to create the curriculum for an online digital art course, then grade assignments and support students. We already have a part-built course that covers topics such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Foundations of Illustration, Digital Painting and Animation in Photoshop. We'd like to add units to the course that cover digital photography, Lightroom and build out the course to cover additional topics.
The curriculum development component of the job involves mapping course units to standards, creating outlines of courses, finding the best videos and reading materials online and writing interesting assignments. Then the after the course has been created, the work involves maintaining the course as videos and materials move location online, grading and providing feedback on assignments, tutoring (via Zoom videoconferencing), writing articles on online education for our blog and providing links to quality online study guides.
As the work is entirely online, geographic location is not important. Some of our teachers are based in the US, others are based overseas, some travel from location to location.
