Aldar Education is currently seeking a Teacher of Science (Physics/ Chemistry) for Al Mamoura Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2023-2024 Academic Year.

Al Mamoura Academy is a British curriculum, mixed gender school until Year 7 and a girl’s only secondary school from Year 8 and above. Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor Degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification. Minimum Experience: Minimum 2 years of Teaching experience in the British National Curriculum. Job-Specific Knowledge & Skills: Outstanding teacher Teaching across ability ranges with proven success Experience working in more than one International School Experience teaching British National Curriculum Strong Inter-personal skills Knowledge of UAE Ministry of Education and ADEK regulations preferable Commitment to the school’s vision and USPs Passion for education, teaching, and a belief in the potential of every student. About the School

Al Mamoura Academy has a mixed Primary School and a girls-only Secondary School. Al Mamoura is proud to be accredited by British Schools Overseas (BSO). In our Nursery and Foundation Stage we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), we use the EYFS Framework which sets standards for the learning, development, and care of all of our children. In Years 1 and 2 we aim to provide a successful, seamless transition from the EYFS curriculum into the English National Curriculum. From Years 3 – 9, our Middle School learning program is an outstanding bespoke international curriculum that is designed to meet the developmental needs of young minds. In Year 9 our students start their decision-making process for their option years (Years 10-13) whether it will be English National Curriculum or US Curriculum.
