Primary Homeroom Teacher

We are seeking a dynamic and caring Homeroom Teacher for the next academic year.  This is a last minute opening and the interview process will be conducted immediately.  Must be Alberta certified (or able to obtain prior to commencing teaching).  We offer a wonderful teaching enviornment, beautiful weather, and a comfortable lifestyle in Mexico.

Qualifications:

  • Four-year University teaching degree in Elementary 
  • Teaching experience at the Elementary or Junior High level
  • Recognized professional teaching certification in Canada or the US 
  • Proficiency in English with excellent pronunciation 
  • Ability to teach in a cross-curricular and 21st-century learning environment

Preferred:

  • Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills
  • Understanding of Career and Technology Foundations
  • Experience working with ELL students
  • Willingness to contribute to take an active part in committees, the school community, design teams, and school initiatives
