All classes are multi age or composite classes with fewer than 18 students per class. Students are from both local and expatriate families, so English as an Additional Language/English to Speakers of Other Languages teaching experience/training is strongly preferred. Classrooms are spacious and bright.

Start date: August 23, 2018

The post is full-time, requiring a 40 hour duty week during term time and up to 13 additional in-person work days when students are not in attendance for orientation, professional development, and school work days.

About the School

EtonHouse Kazakhstan International School is a young international school in Aktau – where the stunning Steppe meets the sparkling Caspian Sea. This year we have a current (and growing) enrolment of about 100 students and we teach an international curriculum in English, Kazkah and Russian from preschool to grade 7. There are plans for the school to extend into the high school years as the students progress. The school offers a full programme of extra-curricular activities,such as karate, chess and yoga as well as the normal curriculum subjects; and the facilities include light, spacious classrooms, sports hall, dance studio, art room and library. Accommodation is very close to the school and 30 minutes from Aktau International Airport.
