Teach in the Democratic Republic of Congo!

Teach Away is currently seeking applications from experienced, motivated primary teachers to teach at Kivu International School in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Applicants must be fluent French speakers in order to be considered for these exciting teaching positions.

Successful candidates will be responsible for implementing and teaching both the IB and national primary curriculum to 1st - 6th grade students. Opening in September 2017, Kivu International School was co-founded by Orlando Magic basketball player Bismack Biyombo. Kivu International School is a private, bilingual, non-denominational, co-educational school which aims to increase access to quality education throughout the region.

The school offers cutting-edge facilities and a leading international curriculum. Each classroom is wifi enabled, equipped with computers and tablets and runs on solar and electric energy.

Set to open in September 2017, Kivu International School is a bilingual, co-educational, non-denominational school located in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo. Serving the local population of Goma, Kivu International School offers both a dual IB and national curriculum.Situated on scenic Lake Kivu, one of Africa’s Great Lakes, Kivu International School overlooks a vast expanse of green-terraced hills, palm-fringed beaches and mountains.
