Dubai Schools

The ‘Dubai Schools project was launched through an agreement between the Dubai Government and Taaleem to operate three schools in a public-private sector partnership.

Dubai Schools aim to provide a world-class education at affordable prices. The new schools have received significant investment to create outstanding campuses and have benefited from the expertise of one of the region’s highest performing and fastest growing school groups.

Thanks to the positive publicity surrounding the initiative and the exceptional partners involved in the project, two Dubai Schools campuses opened received a phenomenal number of applications and were oversubscribed in each year group when they opened their doors in September 2021 to 600 pupils between Kindergarten and Grade 4 at 2 campuses. The opportunity is to build on this goodwill and early success, establishing excellent teaching and learning practices and developing a team of experts who can fulfill the potential of the school.

The Role:

The core purpose of this role is to provide professional, highly effective leadership and management that will achieve outstanding results in all aspects of school life. The principal promotes an inspiring vision and clear direction that is shared by all members of the school community. Ultimately, the Principal is responsible for managing all risks, filling the school and managing the cost base to generate the budgeted revenue and profit, and delivering outstanding ratings and parental engagement.

The Principal will work under the guidance of the Superintendent for Dubai Schools and will work closely with the founding staff team at both Dubai Schools – Mirdif and Dubai Schools – Al Barsha as well as colleagues across the wider Taaleem family. The opportunity is to develop and bring into reality a compelling vision for a K-12 school that will offer a rigorous American education and aims to develop respectful citizens who embrace UAE culture and values while having a strong global perspective.
