PYP Teacher

Seeking for September 2024 – 2 year-contract

To complete our team in the Primary School, we are looking for a :

PYP Teacher

(Full-time - 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the academic, social, and emotional development of students
  • Plan and teach creative, challenging, and inspiring student learning experiences
  • Provide ongoing feedback and assessments
  • Participate in professional development related to school as well as professional related objectives
  • Carry out other tasks and duties required for the smooth running of the school
  • Be willing to play an active role in the wider life of the school.

Qualifications and Requirements

Required Certificates
TESL/TEFL Diploma Level
Education RequiredAssociate/2-year Diploma
Additional School Requirements

Candidate requirements:

  • A university degree and teacher qualification
  • At least two years experience working with primary students, aged 3-11 years old
  • Understanding of and experience working with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme and/or other inquiry-based programs ·     
  • Experience working with students with a range of learning styles and needs
  • Experience in using strategies to support English Language Learners
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team
  • Excellent time-keeping and organisation
  • Ability to integrate technology to enhance learning (including Google Educator certification)
  • Excellent command of English C1 and French B2 minimum
  • Knowledge of other languages would be a desirable asset
