About the School

Forsan Schools (Forsan American School and Forsan British School) are owned by Ragab Group who are a well-organized establishment based in Alexandria in Egypt.
The group currently own Riada Schools which were established in 1992 and implement the National, British and American curricula. Also, Pharos University which was established in 2005.Forsan American School opened in August 2017 and is a accredited by  AdvancED American Diploma program with the goal of being authorized to offer for the IB Diploma. We seek to inspire students beyond the classroom to become lifelong learners and global citizens of the 21st Century by developing their talents in a multilingual environment. The school currently serves approximately 400 students from Pre-K to Grade 11. Student numbers will eventually rise to a targeted total of 1050 students from Pre-K to Grade 12. Our generous, state-of-the art campus with significant sports facilities, is located in Smouha district, Alexandria city.

About the Position

The School Principal is the academic and administrative leader of the School who is expected to be part of the school start up. The Principal works with the administrative team, teachers, parents and students of Forsan American School to ensure and maintain its growth as a world-class school while preserving its mission statement and core values. The Principal is expected to have a track record of proven success as a school administrator. The Principal has to focus constantly on ways of improving teaching and learning, including performing effective professional development of all staff and making optimum use of educational technology. The Principal leads staff from both the American Diploma program and the International Baccalaureate program. The Principal has to demonstrate best practices in instruction and data analysis with clear strategies for improvement, as well as developing individual students through promoting rich opportunities for learning both within and outside the classroom. He or she needs to have consistently high expectations in planning strategically and supporting all school educational programs.
