Science/Math Teacher

Responsibilities

Plan and prepare Science lessons and examination in accordance with curriculum
Teach Science classes
Prepare laboratory classes
Attend staff and planning meetings as required by administration
Maintain clear communication with parents about student progress and behavior
Prepare and attend Parent-Teacher conferences
Work closely with school administration to improve teaching practices and raise the quality of the program
Plan a club of his/her choice once a week, during lunch time

Job Benefits

One return airfare per year from home province to Beijing
Living allowance $4000 RMB per month - Apartments usually require three month deposit paid by the tenant (If necessary the school can advance this amount to be repaid in the first two months)
Salary paid in 5 installments at the end of each month
Benefit package included. Breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday
Contract is for 5 months
Arrive at the school Feb. 21, 2019. Second Semester classes begins Feb. 25, 2019
The school year follows the Manitoba calendar days although the holiday periods follow Chinese holidays
