Job Summary
The primary goal of this position is to guide and support students in grades 6-12 through academic, social, and emotional situations and guide them in college/university/career preparation. Counselors in this position will work with students individually, in small groups, and in whole classes to provide the support systems and guidance needed at each secondary grade level. Instructional content & skills will include organizational skills, social skills, academic course planning, standardized testing, and college/university/career planning.
