Additional School Requirements

Only applicants that meet the following minimum criteria should apply:

  • Able to provide a recent national police clearance report for your country of citizenship and recent country of residence.
  • Certified Teacher / Teaching License issued by a national or state government education agency (Ministry of Education, etc.); TOEFL, TSOL, etc. alone does not qualify.
  • At least 2 years full-time teaching experience teaching Art in a school setting.
  • Teaching certification in secondary school Art.
  • Proven classroom management, curriculum planning, and pedagogical skills
  • Able to provide a letter of reference from a current or recent supervisor. 
  • Able to provide at least 3 names and contact information (email, phone number) of current or recent supervisors who can be contacted.
  • A student-centered, progressive approach to teaching and learning
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
  • Ability to make a long-term commitment to work in a dynamic, progressive learning community
