Special Educational Needs Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school's SEN policy.
- The SENCo will coordinate additional support for pupils with send and liaise with their parents, teachers, and other professionals who are involved with them.
- Assess individual learning needs of students with disabilities or identified as gifted and/or talented.
- Promote the welfare and interests of students with disabilities.
- Provide access to the curriculum through teaching, adapted equipment and materials, accessible settings, lessons, and other involvements.
