Teacher for American Exams Preparation (SAT/SSAT/ACT)

Overview of role

StudyLab School in Moscow looks for a professional teacher for SAT/SSAT/ACT preparation for a full-time position. We look for an expert who can lead our students to ambitious academic goals and demonstrates a result-oriented approach.

Our students apply for highly selective boarding schools and universities abroad and, therefore, require high level of dedication and customized approach from a teacher.

The teacher will be responsible for preparing students for taking SAT/SSAT/ACT exams. The lessons take place on 1-1 basis and in small groups of 3-6 students. The goal is to develop effective study strategies and academic English capabilities in order to prepare students for university environment and successfully passing the exams.

 

Core functions

  • Lead students to their academic goal
  • Devise study plan based on student’s academic goal
  • Apply individualized approach in a classroom
  • Monitor the student's progress and adapt the study program depending on the student needs

 

The successful candidate

  • A leader and a self-starter, energetic and team-oriented
  • Experienced in teaching study strategies for students
  • Has got an experience in exam preparation, other international exams
  • A willingness to make a minimum of 3 years commitment to the position

 

Work schedule

5-6 days per week
