Vice Principal

Job Summary:

The Vice Principal of the International Community School will work alongside the Principal/head of the School in the development, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of the school’s educational program. The Vice Principal will be responsible for overseeing the academic, administrative, and operational aspects of the school to ensure that the highest standards of education are delivered to students, in line with the school’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Development and Implementation:

  • Work with the Principal to develop and implement an innovative, rigorous, and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of the school’s diverse student population.
  • Ensure that the curriculum is aligned with the school’s mission, vision, and values and is in line with local and international standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of the curriculum and ensure that it is effective in meeting the learning needs of all students.

Academic Leadership:

  • Lead and support the academic team to ensure that they deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning and implement interventions where necessary to improve outcomes.

Student Support and Well-being:

  • Work with the Principal to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment that promotes the well-being and development of all students.
  • Oversee the implementation of student support programs, including pastoral care, counseling, and health and safety.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider community to support student success.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the operational aspects of the school, including the management of facilities, resources, and budgets.
  • Ensure that the school is compliant with all relevant local and international regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to administrative staff to ensure the efficient running of the school.

Qualifications:
