Teaching Requirements in the Middle East
In the Middle East there is a need for both certified teachers and College level language teachers. Certified teachers are teachers that have been certified in their home country to teach in public schools. The requirements for English language teachers in the Middle East are a minimum of a 4-year degree from an English speaking country. College instructors must hold a Master's degree in TESL and 3-5 years of full time tertiary teaching experience.
Schools prefer teaching applicants that have:

- TESOL or TEFL certificate/diploma
- 2-5 years of teaching experience
- Teaching certification from home state or province
