Teach at Bourchier Street Primary School

Bourchier Street Primary School is located in the north of Shepparton.  The school has a current enrolment of 615 students.

We attract many students from across the City of Greater Shepparton as we have a well-established reputation throughout the community as a caring and professional school.  

The student population has changed significantly in recent years, with a substantial change from predominantly professional families, to a more culturally and economically diverse clientele.

Whilst we maintain a strong single identity, the school is organized into 3 sub-schools for practical purposes.

There is a Junior team (F-1-2), a Middle team (3-4), and a Senior team (5-6).  The classes are generally straight-year levels. The specialist programs offered at our school are Visual Arts, Creative Arts, Physical Education & Sport, and L.O.T.E.  We offer extensive opportunities for children to be involved in weekend sporting teams.  Our Literacy program is supported by Reading Recovery teachers and complimentary intervention programs.
