Job Description

The American School of Ulaanbaatar (ASU) is an international school founded in 2006. We are a private school with internationally recognized accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Our student population is about 85% Mongolian, with the remainder composed of students from more than 20 different countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Elementary classroom teachers are responsible for teaching the four core subjects of Math, English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science to a contained class of 24 students.
  • The teacher will establish an engaging learning environment with the assistance of a program assistant. In addition, the teacher will collaborate with the grade level team to continually develop units of study to teach the standards adopted by the school.
  • The teacher will also support the learning community by serving on school committees.
