Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education.
- IB Certifications is desired.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary level.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Job Summary:
Madison International School (IB school) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to inspire and educate young minds. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in teaching early childhood education, a commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and Instruction:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate the varied learning styles and abilities of students.
- Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance student engagement.
Classroom Management:
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques and encourage positive behavior.
- Address and resolve conflicts among students in a constructive manner.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Monitor and assess student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment tools.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Prepare and maintain accurate student records and report cards.
Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school administration.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and attend staff meetings.
- Engage in school-wide activities and community events.
