Valid teaching certification/license for elementary education.
IB Certifications is desired.
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the elementary level.
Proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.

Job Summary:

Madison International School (IB school) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to inspire and educate young minds. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in teaching early childhood education, a commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Instruction:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate the varied learning styles and abilities of students.
Incorporate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance student engagement.

Classroom Management:

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
Implement effective classroom management techniques and encourage positive behavior.
Address and resolve conflicts among students in a constructive manner.

Assessment and Evaluation:

Monitor and assess student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment tools.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Prepare and maintain accurate student records and report cards.

Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the school administration.
Participate in professional development opportunities and attend staff meetings.
Engage in school-wide activities and community events.
