Job Description: Librarian
General Objective of the Position
To provide a well-managed, resourceful, and inclusive library environment that supports the educational goals of ASFC. The librarian fosters a love for reading and learning, promotes information literacy, and enhances the overall educational experience through leadership, collaboration, and a strong commitment to the school’s mission and values.
The librarian:
Key Responsibilities
In line with the administrative and pedagogical framework of ASFC, the librarian is expected to:
Activities
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Annual
Occasional
•Airport pick-up on your first arrival to Tuxtla
•Rehiring bonus (after initial contract)
•Yearly round-trip airfare of up to $20,000 MXN
•Paid Christmas and Easter leave
•Major Medical Insurance
•Official IB training or selected Professional Development for the
position
•Paid workplace accident insurance
•Paid visa fees for all expenses encountered after arrival in Mexico,
including renewal
• Mexican Social Security
•100% Scholarship for all dependent children, as long they pass
admission tests. (Scholarship does not cover institutional fees, school
uniforms, books, supplies and PTA charges)
•Salary: MXN monthly before tax.
