We are seeking a dedicated Drama Teacher to join our team, inspiring students through exceptional teaching and creative expression. This is an opportunity to shape young minds and foster a love for the performing arts in a dynamic learning environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons
- Develop lesson plans, resources, and assessments to meet learning objectives.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and cross-disciplinary projects.
- Organize and participate in educational trips, workshops and extra curricular activities
- Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and achievements.
- Attend professional development sessions and contribute to departmental meetings.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Performing Arts or relevant subjects
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably following the British curriculum
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Familiarity with the independent education sector.
