- Excellent commuication skills in Arabic & English
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified/licensed counselor (recognized qualification required by Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge - ADEK).
- Minimum 2–5 years of counseling experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of child protection policies and experience in safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
Student Support:
- Provide individual and group counseling to address personal, academic, and social issues.
- Identify students in need of additional support and create intervention plans.
- Help students develop positive behaviors, interpersonal skills, and resilience.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with teachers and administrators to support student well-being.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
- Liaise with external mental health professionals and community services when necessary.
Behavioral and Emotional Development:
- Address and mediate conflict among students.
- Conduct risk assessments and support the school's safeguarding protocols.
