As a Participate Learning Ambassador teacher, you can experience teaching in the U.S. education system while sharing your traditions with your new community. You will help plan events to celebrate your favourite holidays and serve as a role model and mentor to your school community.  

In an exciting collaboration with Prince William County Public Schools, we are hiring creative and dedicated professionals who believe all children can be successful. Prince William County Public Schools is the second largest school division in Virginia. Their mission is to launch thriving futures for students through collaboration, quality professional learning, the use of instructional technology and the advancement of literacy and wellness.

As one of the original 13 colonies, Virginia has many historic landmarks, including Mount Vernon, the location of George Washington’s first home and Colonial Williamsburg. Richmond is the state’s capital and one of the country’s oldest cities. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy visiting the Shenandoah Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains in the western part of the state. Additionally, Virginia offers city living among the suburbs of Washington, DC and miles of beachfront access to the Atlantic Ocean for those who love spending time at the coast.

We are looking for passionate Elementary school teachers committed to sharing their culture, embracing U.S. culture, and increasing mutual understanding between U.S. citizens and citizens of their home country. All applicants must hold a Primary teaching qualification and currently teach within a Primary school setting.
