Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the long-term and short-term development plans of college counseling based on the school’s educational philosophy, strategic plans, etc.
- Have a wide and deep knowledge of politics, economy, technology, and culture, and analyze their trends, directions, and impact on the demand for talent.
- Fully understand every facet of world-class universities including their educational statements, governance systems, curricula, faculty, majors, evaluations & assessments, alumni networks, etc.
- Be familiar with the Chinese National Curriculum and international curricula & courses (e.g. IB, A-Levels, AP).
- Master the application procedures and requirements of international universities, and make appropriate and tailored strategies for each student.
- Guide and advise students and parents through one-on-one meetings, lectures, workshops, etc.
- Make close contact with college admissions officers and keep them updated on the school’s educational practice and progress.
- Join in the school’s admissions process to optimize the talent selection mechanism.
- Work closely with the faculty to monitor the development of students and fully understand their personalities and advantages; ensure that high-quality recommendation letters are submitted on time during the application season.
- Integrate resources inside and outside the classroom to improve students’ application profiles.
