IGCSE Computer Science focuses on computational thinking as well as their understanding of the principles to solve real-world problems with computers. IGCSE Computer Science encourages students to appreciate current and emerging computing technologies, as well as the benefits and risks associated with their use.

Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science encourages learners to meet the needs of higher education courses in computer science as well as twenty-first century digital employers. It encourages leaders to think creatively, through applying practical programming solutions, demonstrating that they are effective uses of technology.

Learners develop computational thinking & programming skills to solve computer science problems. Cambridge International AS and A Level Computer Science will help learners develop a range of skills such as thinking creatively, analytically, logically and critically. They will also be able to appreciate the ethical issues that arise with current and emerging computing technologies.

 

The school provides a one time $7,000USD relocation allowance.

The British West Indies Collegiate is currently searching for a Business Studies Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year who is familiar with, or willing to acquire knowledge of the University of Cambridge International syllabi at International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE); and preferably at A (Advanced)-level, which is the pre-requisite for studying at a university in the United Kingdom, and other developed countries around the world.

We are looking for a dynamic, qualified, and experienced teacher to join our strong team of educators.
