Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred
  • Background in psychology/education/counseling preferred
  • Native-level English required, Fluency in Spanish preferred
  • 5 years experience (preferred) in the field of education/college advising, with knowledge of the US college application process
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Skilled communicator, able to effectively engage and manage relationships with parents and students
  • Passion for working with young people
  • Problem-solver, independent and professional work ethic

Compensation:

  • Commensurate with qualifications and experience

Blue Ivy Coaching provides individualized college and career advising for students across the globe. Blue Ivy students apply to universities in the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, and Latin America. Blue Ivy’s Application Coaching program guides students through all aspects of the application process, including school and major selection, essay writing, application logistics, financial aid and scholarships, and student profile development.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of approximately 20 coaches and an Associate Director
  • Facilitate communication with families to share student progress and address concerns; ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide individualized summaries and recommendations in meetings with families
  • Oversee the program’s curriculum and development; create and deliver ongoing training and evaluation
  • Track program deliverables, timeline, and coach performance
  • Management and organization of the student pipeline
  • Serve as advisor and facilitate classes for a small number of students
  • Collaborate with Academic, Pathways, Sales, and Operations team members; participate in sales and marketing events
  • Additional duties as required

Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 9am-7pm - CST/México City
  • Occasional weekend/evening activities or events
  • April start date

Location:

Online (with some opportunity for in-person activity depending upon the Director’’s location)
